STYLE WATCH- Church Socks & Sandals- Yes Ma'am or No Ma'am!

The Trend Appeared on Several Runways in Spring/Summer 2010 

Could it be making it's way into Fall Fashions??? 

Here to poll the masses on the socks and sandals trend. What are you thoughts? Are you inspired or revolted.. Speak on it.  

In my opinion, if you're going to do this  it'd have to be a HELL of a shoe and even then the sock could be a distraction.  Personally, I don't think this I'd rock this trend,  especially considering the substantial potential to fail miserably and look like a fool. I've got a big flat foot and I often choose to be conservative when it comes to certain trends as to not draw too much attention to my Fred Flintstone situation. Accentuate the Positive. :-) Anyway,  if you dare to wear remember there is a fine line between fabulous and foolywang. Tred lightly

STYLEWATCH- Katy Perry

Katy Perry VMA's 2010

Katy Perry was giving a cross between Tara Lipinsky (Olympic Figure Skater) and Jessie Spano Showgirls in this nudey number.  I'm down right confused by it all.  And the footwear and taupe tights by Dorothy Spornak (Golden Girls) further complicated the matter.  And wait a minute, are those Rainbow Brite clip Hair Extensions by Mattel? I give Katy kudos for being true to herself.  If I had to sum it up in one word, Katy's look is, expected.  These are just my humble thoughts.. Katy does look cute in that Dancing with the Stars kinda way. How are you guys feeling about this here???
